The explosive growth of cloud and enterprise data center data is driving the need for higher performance storage interfaces to accelerate the ability to access critical applications of data. The Botong 12 Gb/s SAS solution is designed to provide the necessary platform for next-generation servers and storage with the most demanding performance and data protection requirements. Provide a solution with up to twice the data transfer rate of 6 Gb/s SAS, and 12 Gb/s SAS allows the SAS infrastructure to provide bandwidth that can be fully utilized by PCI Express 3.0 through a single controller card.
Next generation high port SAS RAID
MegaRAID® The SAS 9361-24i features one internal port in a slim * profile, providing two 2.72 GHz PowerPC processor cores and a 4-bit DDR3324 interface to drive 3 GB cache. By utilizing the SAS24 dual core ROC with 9361 native SAS/SATA ports, the 24-3i controller can fully utilize the latest PCI Express 0.12 interface to provide higher performance and throughput. 9361 gigabytes per second MegaRAID SAS 24-24i is designed specifically for configuring high-density storage with up to 240 drives on servers, either directly connected within the chassis or utilizing up to<& Gt; Drives.
Enterprise Data Protection
The MegaRAID SAS 9361-24i RAID controller supports data retention by using NAND flash memory on the controller, powered by a CacheVault power module 02 (CVPM02). The CVPM02 module is a supercapacitor bank that can provide power for backup data in the event of host power failure or server failure. The CVPM02 module has been connected to the controller remotely through a cable. Backup data to flash memory on the NAND super disk array controller board.
The standard supports the most popular RAID levels, including RAID 5 and RAID 6, further enhancing the Super Disk Array SAS 9361-24i. The new enterprise feature 12 Gb/s MegaRAID SAS controller adopted is advanced drive diagnostic technology. If a physical drive fails, the drive will be placed in a protected state, and the MegaRAID controller will launch a drive diagnostic program to determine if the drive has indeed failed or can be recovered. This can save customers time, money, and computational time related to transients, as well as drive failures and unnecessary drive returns.
