The NVIDIA Quantum LongReach system enables seamless connectivity between InfiniBand data centers or storage platforms. The LongReach system can extend InfiniBand connections to 10 or 40 kilometers, enabling high data throughput, native Remote direct memory access (RDMA) communication, advanced routing, and scalable hierarchical aggregation and reduction protocol (SHARP). LongReach users can easily migrate applications from one InfiniBand center to another, or combine the computing power of multiple remote data centers to achieve higher overall performance and scalability.
