Today's data center, cloud and High-performance computing environment not only need to increase storage capacity to process large amounts of data, but also face the challenge of protection and deliver data as soon as possible to meet the needs of applications and end users. To address these performance requirements as capacity expands, Bo Tong's latest 6Gb/s SAS RAID controller intelligent performance, enterprise RAID data protection, and validated interoperability with the latest server platform based on PCI Express 3.0 specifications are required. MegaRAID SAS 9271-8i has eight internal ports and can provide two 800MHz PowerPC® 1 bit DDRIII interface for processor core and driver 72GB cache. Provided by LSI SAS 2208 to support dual core ROC, the 9271-8i controller includes the latest PCI Express 3.0 and 6Gb/s SAS technology and helps users maximize the performance advantages of solid-state storage.
Using MegaRAID CacheVault™ Technology or BBU protection locked data
RAID caching is a cost-effective method that improves I/O performance by writing data to the controller before caching before writing to the disk. In write back mode, data written to the cache is vulnerable to attacks until it is permanently stored on disk. To avoid the possibility of data loss or damage during power on or power on, Broadcom has turned off the CacheVault flash cache protection module or the backup unit of the LSIiBBU09 battery MegaRAID SAS 9271-8i controller. CacheVault flash cache protection uses NAND ultra gray memory powered by supercapacitors to help protect the data controller cache stored in MegaRAID. The RAID controller automatically writes data from the cache to storage in the event of a power failure, while the supercapacitor maintains current during this process. When the power is restored, DRAM is restored from the gray storage, and the system continues to operate without losing data. Customers can flexibly choose between traditional LiON battery solutions or more environmentally friendly, lower total cost of ownership (TCO) cache protection solutions using MegaRAID CacheVault technology.

The 6Gb/s MegaRAID controller series is designed to support advanced software options such as enhanced performance and data protection capabilities for white box channel partners. These new software options help end users solve critical business challenges while helping to achieve higher IT investment returns. MegaRAID CacheCache™ Pro 2.0 software and MegaRAID fast channel software can improve transactional I/O performance of solid-state disk configurations, while MegaRAID Recovery software and MegaRAID SafeStore™ Software can achieve enhanced data protection and security.
Intuitive RAID management utility
MegaRAID Management Suite™ The software provides a basic tool product for managing MegaRAID, whether deployed in enterprises or small businesses. Botong has closed applications and tools, including the pre boot setup utility and a comprehensive online RAID management utility. This application allows administrators to adjust the view level of SAS or SATA topology from system hosts, controllers, and disk enclosures to logical and physical drives. These tools can be extended to enterprise deployments for easier communication, monitoring, and managing RAID and JBOD volumes locally or through LAN networks.
